Hi my name is Catherine Lewis and I am the founder of

Next ChaptHer Coaching & Consultancy.

 

I had no great master plan when I started my career in Brussels many years ago. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, and on the suggestion of my Dad who was working in Belgium, I thought I would give it a shot myself. Six years later, having had 2 successful contracts with the European Commission, I moved back to the UK to do something completely different, which then led me into the world of Finance Technology.

As I climbed the ladder, I embraced every opportunity to learn, adapt, and innovate, which has been essential to survival in this fast paced industry. I have also tried to stay focused on my core values and be true to myself, making difficult and brave decisions along the way which sometimes impacted my immediate career progression. Ultimately though, the decisions I made were right for me at the time and brought me different opportunities and successes.

Over the years as a colleague and a leader, I have had the honour of working with many people across continents and time zones. I have learnt that my real passion is in supporting those people, and especially the women in their development and careers. As a female I have experienced first hand some of the challenges  of working in a male dominated environment where there are very few good role models.

It is for that reason that I became an ICF accredited coach with the ambition of supporting all females in shaping and defining their Next ChaptHer what ever that may be!!
